Stuff Their Stockings with Winter Fun

Winter arrived in the Petoskey Area on a puff of cold air and the promise of one of the area’s best amenities – snow. What a gift, as all three of our ski areas – Boyne Highlands, Nub’s Nob and Boyne Mountain – opened not only in time for Thanksgiving, but the week before! Petoskey Area Ski Resorts Rank Among the Best

The New York Times recently named Michigan a Secret Ski Destination with kudos thrown to Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands. Soon after publication of that article, the Detroit Free Press released its list of the Top 10 Ski Areas in Michigan. We’re proud to be home to three of the top 10 – the two Boyne resorts and Nub’s Nob.

Snow-Covered Slopes & Fun Events Make March Delightful

While we didn’t get the white Christmas we were dreaming of here in northern Michigan, once the flood gates opened, 51+ inches fell in less than three weeks and the hills started hopping. Conditions now are still terrific and all indications are pointing towards continued bliss for skiers and boarders at Boyne Highlands, Boyne Mountain and Nub’s Nob.
